With the TopTon M600, a new mini computer can now be ordered – with three different processors. Buyers can choose between the Ryzen 9 6900HX, Ryzen 7 Pro 6850H, and Ryzen 5 Pro 6650U. The model is available fully equipped with RAM, hard disk, as well as naked.
Two DDR5 slots are available for installing RAM. RAM with a clock frequency of up to 4800MHz is supported. Up to two M.2 2280 SSDs can be installed, as well as the option to mount a 2.5-inch hard drive or SSD.
Two Ethernet ports are installed, each with a maximum data transfer rate of 2.5 Gb / s. Alternatively, it is also possible to connect to the wireless network via WiFi 6E. Monitors can be connected via HDMI, DisplayPort, or Thunderbolt 3, which means multiple high-resolution monitors can be connected at the same time.
Several USB 3.2 and USB 2.0 ports are installed, which means that both external storage media and peripherals can be connected at reasonable speed. Measuring 149 x 145 mm, the system measures 40 mm high and is effectively tactile, with the casing made of plastic and aluminum alloy.
The TopTon M600 with Ryzen 5 Pro 6650U as bare bones is roughly €461 – imported directly from Asia. As usual, this is associated with longer shipping times, potential import duties, and also difficulty in enforcing warranty rights.

I’ve been a journalist for over ten years, mostly in the technology field. I’ve worked at Tom’s Hardware and ComputerBase, among others, and since 2017 I’ve also worked at Notebookcheck. My current focus is particularly on microcomputers and single board computers like the Raspberry Pi – that is, embedded systems with many possibilities. In addition, there is a soft spot for all kinds of wearable devices especially smartwatches. I work full time as a laboratory engineer, which is why I am not far from scientific contexts or interpretation of complex measurements.
