Lufthansa has repeatedly revealed new information about the new Allegris cabin in recent months. Among other things, the list of planned destinations has been updated regularly.
The next destinations (after Toronto and Vancouver) should be Chicago and Montreal as of July 2024. Now there has been another change. All references to Montreal are made From the bottom Deleted. Now he just says:
With each additional A350, additional destinations will be added – in July 2024, the first will be Chicago.
The current operational plan for the A350 with the new cabin is as follows:
- Munich – vancouver – Munich: May to July 2024
- Munich – toronto – Munich: May to July 2024
- Munich – chicago – Munich: as of July 2024
Munich – Montreal – Munich: Deleted- Munich – Shanghai – Munich: as of August 2024
- Munich – San Francisco – Munich: as of August 2024
- Munich – Bengaluru – Munich: from the end of October 2024
- Munich – Cape town – Munich: from the end of October 2024
As always, the following applies: Subject to change, it is not guaranteed that you will actually land on an Allegris aircraft until shortly before departure. Because the old plane with 2-2-2 seating arrangement also flies parallel to the Allegris A350. The new seating plan will then be published online approximately 3 weeks before departure.
Lately, Montreal has been dealt with their usual 2-2-2 formation. It will likely remain that way over the next few months.
However, the new cabin isn't necessarily an improvement, especially for people traveling as a couple. Because there is hardly any place in the new business class where two people can sit and chat. On the other hand, the suite in the front rows is probably the best business seat in the world and can be freely chosen by senators, at least (in the primary).
