The KFA2 graphics card manufacturer, which operates out of Hong Kong, introduced the Geforce RTX 4060 Ti EX, a particularly compact custom design for Nvidia’s mid-range graphics card, which takes up just two PCIe expansion slots in the housing. Aside from manufacturer-specific tweaks, there’s a shortage of graphics memory.
Graphics card manufacturer KFA2, which operates from Hong Kong and is known in particular for its highly overclocked graphics cards from the HOF (“Hall of Fame”) series, has a particularly slim custom design with its Geforce RTX 4060 Ti EX (” Extreme”) based on Nvidia’s mid-range GPU, which only takes up two of the case’s PCIe expansion slots. Apart from the compact dimensions of 251 x 130 x 40 mm and the new cooling concept based on the new Wings 2.0 fan with a height of only 2 slots, graphics memory is again the main factor in the KFA2 Geforce RTX 4060 Ti EX spoiling the game. Raff has already shown it in examples A clear process why you should not buy 8 GiByte graphics cards.
Like every Nvidia Geforce RTX 4060 Ti with 8GB GDDR6, the now introduced KFA2 Geforce RTX 4060 Ti EX also has very little graphics memory and a very narrow memory interface with only 128 bits, which in turn results in a low memory bandwidth of 288 GB/ seconds results. So the Geforce RTX 4060 Ti was not convincing in the PCGH test.
Users who decide to buy a KFA2 Geforce RTX 4060 Ti EX despite the “graphics memory” controversy will get (A) RGB lighting, which is now mandatory, in addition to the features mentioned. In addition, the manufacturer promises improved airflow (+25%), static air pressure rise (+15%) and reduced air stuffiness (-50%) compared to the first-generation Wings fan models. In addition, the reliability of the 102mm propellers should be much higher.
