‘Love moves everything’: Queen Letizia of Spain wears secret messages on her finger

Queen Letizia of Spain appears on an official date with a special ring on her finger. The piece of jewelry contains touching messages of love and is said to be a gift from her two daughters.

King Felipe and Queen Letizia visited the editorial office of La Razon newspaper in Madrid this week. This year, the conservative daily newspaper celebrates its twenty-fifth anniversary.

For the official date, Letizia, who worked as a journalist, wore a dark blue dress with a bardot collar. The 51-year-old showed off the dress once during a formal event in 2022.

The four words are written on the golden ring “Move Amor Chi Toto” (German: Love moves everything.) This is a quote from Dante Alighieri’s Divine Comedy.

There is an inscription inside the ring “As long as I am here you will love” (German: As long as I exist, you will be loved.) This saying is said to refer to a medieval song.

The custom-made ring is said to have been a gift from her daughters, heir to the throne Leonor and Princess Sofia.

The sisters are said to have given the piece of jewellery, worth around €1,200, to their mother for Christmas. The ring is a symbol of how much Leonor and Sofía love their mother.
