Only Larisa Marault was inferior to the professional chef in the Mother’s Day edition of “Grill den Henssler”. The model found it difficult to hide her disappointment.
For the issue of “Grill den Henssler” on May 14, professional chef Steffen Henssler (50) invited three celebrities who swung the wooden spoon against him: presenter Riccardo Simonetti (30), presenter Aminata Belli (31) and model Larissa Marolt (30 ). Since it was a special Mother’s Day, the TV stars were allowed to bring their moms along as backup.
Larissa Marault, known from Germany’s Next Top Model, appeared on the show for the fourth time. But even this time it was not enough for victory, although she had high ratings. Mother-daughter duo Larissa and Elk Marolt conjured up an Austrian dessert specialty, which they both said they’ve practiced 21 times: Salzburger Nockerln.
Was Larisa angry with the jury?
Dessert was served with fruit salad and wild berries. When it comes to taste, juror Jana Ina Zarrella (46) found “significant differences” between the dishes. Henssler’s version of Salzburger Dumplings seemed to rise better and was “noticeably softer” on the inside.
TV chef Christian Rush, 65, described both dishes as “equally wonderful,” and all in all, the pies from Team Marrault scored quite a few points. However, Larissa Marault was still disappointed with the referee and couldn’t quite hide it in her facial expressions.
“I have to say, sometimes you let yourself be fooled by the looks, because we used the original Salzburger Nockerl recipe. No preservatives, no starch,” the winner of “Next Austrian Style” accused the jury. Some fans of the show took this as an opportunity to call Larissa a “bad loser” on the show’s Instagram profile.
