Charles: Another Coronation in Scotland
The monarch and his wife will be crowned and honored with the Scottish Crown Jewels in a private ceremony – the so-called service of dedication and thanksgiving, reports Welcome!-magazine.
Charles and Camilla will be in Scotland for the traditional Holyrood week in the first week of July. During this time, the King would host a garden party in Edinburgh and hold an investiture, among other engagements.
The garden party will be held on the 4th of July. This is the King’s first Scottish garden party during his reign.
The exact date of the ceremonial service has not been officially confirmed. With the Crown Chamber of Edinburgh Castle closed from 4th to 6th July and the entire castle on 5th July, guessworkt hello!that the coronation ceremony in Scotland could take place on the 5th of July.
