I quit work! German star presenter Jörg Bilawa (56 years old) is leaving ARD and NDR. This means that he also forgoes moderation in popular TV shows such as “NDR Quizshow”, “Quizduell” and “Quiz without limits”, which are also shown on SRF. He worked for the Public Broadcasting Corporation for 20 years. “Of course, after such a long and hard time, you are leaving sadly,” says Bilawa.
The broker does not want to reveal his destination now. According to Bild newspaper, which reports on the “TV sensation of 2022”, Jörg Bilawa has a new long-time employer. It is claimed that in a few days he will be announced as the new face of Saturday 1. There will be many big entertainment shows over the next year. This fits: The radio special has announced a press date for a new, as yet unknown, show for next Monday.

The change is also a comeback for Pilawa: in 1996, at the beginning of his career, he hosted, among others, “Run”, “Jorge Pilawa” and “The De Quiz Show” on Saturday 1.
But the face of Bilawa will not disappear so quickly in the ARD: on February 5th, Bilawa will present the “Unlimited Contest” for the last time. All episodes of “NDR Quizshow” have been taped for the current year and he will also appear on “Quizduell” until summer. It is not known how the broadcast will continue after that.
