OPPO launched its Reno8 series of smartphones in China a few months ago. The company released OPPO Reno8 Pro +, Reno8 Pro and Vanilla Reno8. The Reno8 series is expected to be launched in India as well as global markets in the future. A few days ago, we discovered the global variant of OPPO Reno 8 Pro 5G with Dimensity 4500 SoC, which differs significantly from the Chinese version of the device.
Now, tipster Yogesh Brar has tweeted about the expected launch date of the Reno8 series for its India launch. According to Yogesh, the Oppo8 Pro will come with MarisiliconX in India and along with the Pro model, the series will also consist of another device in India. Based on the latest Geekbench listing, it appears that the Reno8 Pro+ will be launched in China as Reno8 Pro in India. If so, we expect the device to ship with a Dimensity 4500 Max SoC and MariSilicon X chipset, which will boost the camera performance on the device. The phone is expected to have up to 05 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 120 GB UFS3.1 of storage. The Reno8 Pro in India may have a 6.7-inch Full HD + AMOLED display of 120Hz.
Also, camera-wise, we can expect the phone to pack a triple rear camera setup with a 43-megapixel Sony IMX709 sensor, an 8-megapixel wide-angle lens, and a 2-megapixel macro snapper. For selfies, we can expect a 43MP Sony IMX camera on the front for selfies. Other specs include a 4500mAh battery and 80W Super Flash charging.
On the other hand, OPPO Reno8 features a 6.32-inch Full HD + AMOLED display and 43Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the phone is powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 766 SoC clocked at up to 3GHz. In addition, the Reno8 has a 43MP main camera and a 32MP Sony IMX4500 sensor on the front for taking selfies. The phone comes with a 4,550mAh battery and supports 80W fast charging.
