Horizon: Forbidden West fans are eagerly awaiting the launch of the announced Burning Shores DLC. But there is a small problem that you should know.
Are you looking forward to Horizon: Forbidden West – Burning Shores? The new and first DLCs for the action RPG, which will be released on April 19th? good. Guerrilla games apparently as well. The developers have released a new trailer that should prepare you for the expansion and one interesting detail that catches the eye.
It seems you can’t just start playing the Burning Shores DLC when it comes out. Apparently, you must have completed all the main story missions of the game as a prerequisite. It makes sense insofar as the events in Burning Shores are set after the events of the main game, but it’s still a detail that shouldn’t be ignored if you haven’t finished the game yet and want to avoid a nasty surprise.
In any case, once you’ve completed the main story missions and installed the DLC, Sylens will approach you and send you on your new mission. Incidentally, Sylens is once again spoken to in the DLC by the recently deceased Lance Reddick, who we also know as Commander Zavala from Destiny 2 and as a janitor in the John Wick films.
What awaits you at Burning Shores? Well, according to the Playstation blog, the synopsis reads: “Our creative vision for Burning Shores is an ambitious expansion that takes Aloy to the ruins of Los Angeles. This sprawling, ruined city can traverse water and fly on the back of a Sunwing that is fully explorable. Shadow – a huge challenge that Aloy has to overcome with all her skills and abilities. To be able to realize this great vision both technically and creatively, we have made a difficult decision, all our efforts focused on creating an amazing gaming experience exclusively for PlayStation 5.”
