  • Canadian singer Celine Dion has canceled all dates of her Courage World Tour in Europe due to health reasons.
  • Concerts on March 13 and 14, 2024 at the Hallenstadion in Zurich were also affected.

“I’m so sorry to disappoint you all again,” Dion wrote on Twitter. “But even if it breaks my heart, we’d better call it all off until I’m ready to go on stage again. I’m not giving up and I can’t wait to see you again.”

The cause of the obligatory fracture is a rare neurological disease, the incurable and rare stiff person syndrome. The singer revealed that she suffers from severe and persistent muscle spasms and is receiving medical treatment.

The 55-year-old singer from Quebec had already announced in December that concerts planned between February and July 2023 in Europe would be canceled or postponed. In Switzerland, she canceled her appearance at the Paleo Festival and two concerts in Zurich.

Grammy Award winner Dion is best known for the song “My Heart Will Go On” from the 1997 soundtrack to the movie “Titanic”.
