Hans Hafliger will be the new delegate for national economic supply in July next year. He was appointed by the Federal Council on Friday to succeed Kurt Rohrbach, who will hold the post on a temporary basis until the end of June.
As announced by the state government, Hafliger is currently the head of the business performance of the “réservesuisse” cooperative. This provides services in connection with the import, storage, and processing of food and feed, which are subject to the Government Supply Act.
Kurt Rohrbach is the former head of the BKW Energy and Infrastructure Group at Bernie. He was appointed temporary commissioner for national economic supply by the Federal Council in October. (aeg/sda)
