I Guardianship dispute with her father, Jimmy Spears (68) American pop star Britney Spears (39 years old) wants to testify in person in court. The pop singer’s lawyer, Samuel Ingham, said a Los Angeles court had set the date for his testimony for June 23.
Angham initially did not comment on Spears’ desire to make a statement. Spears went to court last year to end Jimmy Spears’ term. According to her lawyer, the singer fears her father.
Guardianship since 2008
After a series of public breakdowns of the former teen star, Jimmy Spears took custody of his daughter in 2008. He used it to organize their legal and financial matters. In February, a court ruled that Jimmy Spears should continue to manage his daughter’s assets in cooperation with the Bessemer Trust.
