Greta Strack comes second twice
Krefeld Conditions were perfect. The sun smiled from the blue summer sky and inspired all horse lovers – both in the saddle and as a spectator. Greta Strack was also happy at the RV Bayer Uerdingen Summer Tournament.
(Stop) At the summer championships of RV Bayer Uerdingen, many good dressage and jumping were shown. Greta Stracke didn’t start there with her two show horses, but she offered her class with Pony Down Under and also extended to the big horses. At the dressage L (bridle), Greta Stracke (RV Lenzenhof Krefeld) made a pony 7.8. The two were outpaced by later winner Kathryn Heymann (RFV Lobberich) over the Sucre Coeur with a score of 8.2. The Rhenish pony rider champion also found her conqueror in Giessenerin Sandra Herff with Hotzenplotz in the Intermediate level for dressage (7.2 to 7.3).
The 15-year-old, trained by Beate Frenzen of the Fenzen dressage stable, is in her final pony year. Celebrated international success. But she’s already working on two tracks: with nine-year-old Hesselteichs Lucky Dancer, she’s part of the Rhenish State dressage troupe, and with Lady Carnaby, she’s in the Rhenish junior dressage troupe. “With Lady Carnaby, I gained experience on the Junior Tour. With my good performance, I recommend Hesselteich’s Lucky Dancer for the German Youth Championship,” says Greta Strack, who is confident of participating in the German Championships as she was with the Germans last year.
As a senior, still among the top runners: 62-year-old Hans Herzig (Pony-RFC Krefeld) and 13-year-old Jalisco vd Voorde cleared with a fastest time of 71.19 seconds. In the Next Jump M with the jump, the former Krefeld District Champion made the jump to the top five runners. But such bad luck, when he achieved the fastest lap time of 43.43 seconds, but the last hurdle was broken. So it is no longer in place.
