In the UK angry drivers get out of their cars and drag enthusiasts off the road with their bare hands. This is currently being shown by videos circulating on social media.
Activists belong to the British Insulate section, the environmental activist group Extinction Rebellion, which also blocked the streets of Zurich last week. In the UK, however, motorists were less understood.
Some activists were stranded on the street, so there were long queues of vehicles. So, some drivers got out and dragged the activists off the street with their rucksacks and clothes. Finally 35 people were arrested by the police.
Destruction was established by members of the rebellion
The group writes on its Facebook page that it was founded in July by members of the Holocaust Rebellion Group and other affiliated networks. You call on the British government to protect homes in a more energy efficient way to reduce CO₂ emissions and achieve climate goals.
Insulated Britain activists first protested on 13 September. Since then, they have organized repeated protests in which they block roads in the country. (Gin)
