At the end of his match against Arthur Rinderknek Cameron Norie made it very exciting again: Britain initially missed a match point in the tie-break but had to give the French players two chances to equalize the set. However, in the end, Britain won 6: 2 and 7: 6 (8), giving their side an early victory over France.
Because Daniel Evans defeated Adrian Mannarino 7: 5 and 6: 4 in the first match at Innsbruck’s Olympia World. The final doubles, however, has some significance: if Joe Salisbury and Neil Skubsky win over Nicolas Mahut and Arthur Rinderkneck, the French will not be able to beat Group C.
