Before long, three Android apps will be sidelined. Like “SmartDroid” mentionedThese are the apps that have been suspected of dying for some time. Now Google has finally confirmed the end and in some cases has already sent the successor to the race.
The first thing to do is to apply MyBusiness. This should end in July 2022. In the future, commercial customers will be able to use all of the app’s functionality in other Google apps like Maps. And so MyBusiness has become obsolete due to other innovations in other applications.
Android apps deleted: Google discontinues these apps
Next in line is Google Duo. The entire video chat app will be replaced by Google Meet. Users must then also find all Duo functions in the other app. The change has already been officially confirmed, but it should take some time. However, Google assumes the change will happen this year.
The last thing Google confirmed was the end of Android Auto for smartphones. Users who are still active now receive an in-app notification that it won’t be supported soon. Driving Assistant mode is available as an alternative and is intended to assist future drivers. Users using Android 12 have not been able to access Android Auto since last year and now the app is also deprecated for Android 11 and earlier.
