In addition, the “Now Playing” function has been updated. It recognizes the different songs you are listening to locally and automatically in the background. If Now Playing doesn’t recognize a song automatically, there’s now a new Pixel 4 search button, which starts the search manually. Favorites can be saved directly to the lock screen with the note icon next to the song. Plus: The dialer app now officially supports texts in German, French, and Japanese for older Pixel smartphones.
