Ghost of Tsushima: It's Official – the PC version is coming this spring

It has been rumored for days that there will soon be official information about the possibility of Ghost of TsuSHIMA on PC. Now it's happened, and there's also a date.

There have been a lot of rumors lately, and there has been talk that Ghost of Tsushima could be released as early as March. However, this seemed somewhat unlikely, because without the marketing phase and around the same time as Horizon: Forbidden West's release for PC, this would be unusual for Sony and almost all other publishers.

Anyway, the PC version of Ghost of Tsushima has now been officially confirmed and has a date of May 16, 2024. Ghost of Tsushima will be released as a Director's Cut and can be pre-ordered now – on Steam and the Epic Games Store. Very huge €59.99. As usual, pre-orders will receive some goodies like a New Game+ horse, a Traveler outfit, and Broken Armor colors from the Baku Shop.

The Director's Cut also contains the full main game, the Iki Island expansion, and the Legends co-op mode. The PC implementation was done by Nixxes, who have so far gained a very good reputation with their ports.

As usual, Nixxes has added some innovations to the PC version. There's freedom to choose frame rate, advanced graphics options, support for 21:9, 32:9 and 48:9 widescreen formats with up to three displays as well as upscaling and framerate creation such as NVIDIA DLSS 3, AMD FSR 3 and Intel XeSS. NVIDIA Reflex and NVIDIA DLAA are also supported to improve image quality. Haptic feedback and adaptive triggers are supported with the DualSense wireless controller, and a new, customizable mouse keyboard control is also set up.

Sucker Punch's Ghost of Tsushima was released for PS4 in 2020 and for PS5 in 2021. The director's cut is based on the PS5 version, which had already received content and art revisions at the time.
