Her dream of winning was within reach, but it exploded at the last moment: Linda Elsner (20) finished fourth in the “Voice of Germany” final. It secured 11% of calls. Johannes Ording’s stepson (39) snatched the win.
For Elsner, it was the second ending in just one season: After her de facto coach Johannes Oerding voted for the bartender, she got a second chance from pop star Elif (29). “It gives me the motivation sometimes I need to try something new,” she said excitedly about her coach in an interview with Blake. The two stood on stage together at the end and sang “How To Fall In Love.” The song revolves around the fact that Linda Elsner has never been in love before.
Minutes earlier, Linda Elsner was on stage with James Blunt (47) and performed her song “Love Under Pressure”.
After her last appearance, Schwitterin exclaimed, “I haven’t enjoyed a live show as much as I’ve enjoyed it here.”
Study stopped at “The Voice of Germany”
In order to be able to attend auditions for the blind, Linda Elsner interrupted her studies and has been working in a bar ever since.
Even if that’s enough for her: Linda Elsner wants to go the safe path of the future. Because even before the final, she explained, “I will definitely finish my studies. Just relying on music would be too risky for the future.” Now the future teacher will probably focus on nursery rhymes again. (Billion dollar)
