  • As an SRF spokeswoman said, she died on Saturday at the age of 92 in Switzerland.
  • Kubicek appeared in more than 160 films and series during her career.

The statement read: “The German film and television actress has quietly bid farewell to her life in her new home in Switzerland after a short struggle with a serious illness.”

Kubitschek has helped shape German television for many years. She was on board the “Dream Ship” ZDF, played in the ARD “Tatort” or in the series “The Legacy of the Guldenburgs” in the second part. Kubicek achieved fame alongside Helmut Fischer in the role of Annette von Soettingen known as “Spatzl” in the Bavarian radio television series “Monaco Franze – The Eternal Stenz”.

Since 2013 she has been Swiss and lives in Ascona. Her spokeswoman said she died in hospital. Her last words were: “The earth has given me a beautiful home in this world. It is with profound gratitude that I move on to the next world. They exist, believe me.” The funeral service should take place in the immediate family circle.
