Fermin Aldeguer Fast, Problems with Vietti

Youngster Fermin Alteguer continued to rise in the Moto 2 class. After his first polar position in Argentina, the 17-year-old completed his first day of training at the Circuit of the Americas. Hard day for Celestino Vietti.

But there was a problem finding the speed of the vibe. Only in his last flying lap did he advance to 15th place.Alteguer had a gap of 0.8 seconds at the front. Aldeguer Best Time 2: 09.155 minutes.

Again the Boscoscuro chassis was faster than the large field of collectors drivers. Tony Arpolino was the first follower of the Alteguer. Local hero Cameron Pupier confirmed his ability from the morning session in third place.

Jack Dixon and Aaron Canet took the top five, followed by Augusto Fernandez, Moto 3 world champion Pedro Acosta, I Okura, Navarro and Albert Arenas. Other temporary Q2 venues held on Friday were Joe Roberts, Somkiat Chandra, Sam Lowes and Marcel Schrter.

Schrter has not been able to defend his top 10 since morning. He was 0.8 seconds behind Alteguer. The German finished 14th in midfield on Friday. Coincidentally, in the final, Marcos Ramirez fell to 6th.

The third Moto2 training session starts at 16:00 CEST on Saturday. The qualifying round will take place from 19:35 CEST.
