Explorer Shackleton discovered the shipwreck

The ship Endurance of the legendary British polar explorer Ernest Shackleton (1874-1922) was discovered at a depth of 3,008 meters in the sea off Antarctica. This was announced by an expedition team led by British marine archaeologist Minson Pound (69) on Wednesday.

“We were very lucky to locate the ability and take pictures of it,” the researcher said. “This is by far the best wooden shipwreck I’ve ever seen.”
