After two close 4:3 defeats against favored rivals from Rübenach and Urbach-Dernbach, the table tennis teams of VfL Waldbreitbach (men’s and youth) had to congratulate their opponents in the District Cup in Windhagen on their victory.
Waldebreitbach / Windhagen. The youngsters surrounding Oliver Haneke, Finlay Grimm and Janick Schneider fought a fierce duel that was decided only in extra time of the last set. “Despite the two defeats in the semi-finals, we can be very satisfied with the performance,” says Jörg Weissenfels, Head of the Table Tennis Department.
VfL Waldbreitbach also offers children and young people the opportunity to quickly learn how to play with a plastic ball under expert guidance. Training takes place on Tuesdays and Fridays from 17:30 to 19:30 in the Waldbreitbach gym (Jahnstrasse 1). Adults meet on Tuesdays and Fridays from 7:30 pm to 10:00 pm for training.
