Swiss footballers also won the sixth match of the European Championship in Aberdeen. However, Skip Silvana Tirinzoni’s team showed more effort than expected against the newcomers from Estonia and won by only a narrow margin of 6:5.

Tirinzoni, Alina Patz, Selina Wychonki and Carol Howald made the difference with a tying lead in the seventh end, giving them a 6:4 lead. The Estonians once again came close to qualifying, but with the advantage of the last stone, the women of CC Aarau were able to win. In the evening (from 8:00 pm on SRF live) the Swiss will play against Scotland.

The men’s team takes on Germany from 3:00pm (also shown live on SRF).
