From September attends the private school Lambbrook near Ascot in Berkshire.

In Windsor, 40 kilometers west of London, the family lives in Adelaide Cottage – thus very close to William’s 96-year-old grandmother Queen Elizabeth II, who has now moved to Windsor entirely.

William and Kate (both 40) made the decision primarily in the interests of their children, to allow them to live as normal a life as possible and give them as much freedom as possible, according to a royal insider source cited by British news agency PA. Kensington Palace in London, where the Cambridges have ever lived, may resemble “a little goldfish bowl.”

The move also means that full-time nanny Maria Teresa Durian Borrallo and other staff will not live under the same roof with the family for the first time. However, William and Kate continue to keep Kensington Palace as their home base. Their country estate in Norfolk, East England, will remain the same.
