Presenter Kate McCann is back on air after British Prime Minister Boris Johnson fainted in the middle of a TV battle between the two candidates. “I’ll be unpacking the debate with some new polls (yes, sit down!) tonight from 7pm,” the TalkTV journalist tweeted on Wednesday.

McCon walked out on Tuesday evening, half an hour after the start of a televised debate between British Foreign Secretary Liz Truss and former finance minister Rishi Sunak. Viewers saw Truss break down, shocked, muttering “Oh my God” and walking towards the camera for help. Then the transmission stopped. The broadcaster later announced that the fight would not go ahead on medical advice, although the host was fine.

“Well, that’s not how last night ended,” McCann wrote, thanking everyone for the many well-wishes. “I’m fine now.” She apologized to Truss and Sunak for the canceled debate.

In the coming weeks, the two adversaries will face more battles on TV shows and at regional party conventions known as hustings. Members of the Conservative Party decide the winner by postal ballot. The result will be declared on 5th September. The dress is considered a favorite.
