6-way adjustable headrest
The seats will be used on about 100 Lufthansa and Swiss aircraft. The first seats are scheduled to be handed over in the last quarter of 2022.
Recaro promises Lufthansa that the CL3710’s modular design will reduce maintenance and lower operating costs. The seat has a six-way adjustable headrest with neck support. “Personal mobile devices can be easily stored in the seat’s foldable storage area,” says Ricaro.
CL3810 modified for A330 and Boeing 747
The CL3810 will be a modification of the Swiss Airbus A330-300 and a Lufthansa Boeing 747-8. Recaro promises “comfortable upholstery with layers of foam.” Beneficial for the operator: The seat is 15 percent lighter than the previous seat, thus reducing fuel consumption.
