Royal fans have not seen Kate Middleton, 39, for more than two months. Her last public appearance was in July in the European Football Championship final at Wembley Stadium with her son George (8) and her husband Prince William (39). So many speculated about another royal baby.
Now Kate is finally back in the open. At RAF Brize Norton, I discovered “Operation Pitting”. A total of 15,000 people were evacuated here after the Taliban advanced into Afghanistan. Kate showed up in a smart, practical look with a jacket and pants – there was no sign of a baby bump!
Mini-Royals are passionate about airplanes
Kate thanked the Afghan heroes and said their kids George and Charlotte (6 years old) and Louis (3 years old) are excited about planes. The Duchess was very elegant, and military pilot Kevin Lachman, who himself flew three planes from Kabul, was excited after the royal visit. “She’s obviously very interested in what we’ve done.”
