Dieter Bohlen (68) was actually the face of ‘Deutschland Mistress den Superstar’. However, he was forced to vacate his position as chief judge after last season. After his discharge, Thomas Anders, 59, of all persons was allowed to sit in the jury’s desk on Saturday.
The former Modern Talking singer is known to have fallen out with his former bandmate and DSDS maker, Dieter Bohlen. The two musicians haven’t been able to talk to each other for years – and now Anders is a guest on the RTL show. Is that supposed to be a stab against the shingle?
Thomas Anders supports the three members of the jury
He was fired by the creators of the casting show at the beginning of the year and replaced by Florian Silbereisen (40). Since the start of the season, the hitter king and fellow jury members Ilse DeLange (44) and Toby Gad (54) have come under fire: many DSDS fans want Bohlen back. Should Thomas Anders fix it now?
The singer will support the three judges with his expertise during the upcoming first live show. “As a world star, Thomas is really qualified,” Celebrities was quoted as saying by Bild newspaper. “He did what all DSDS candidates dream of: he truly became a star!” For the remaining RTL candidates, Anders can be a perfect role model.
Silbereisen wanted four members
But why was the jury expanded for live shows? Silbereisen on this: “I would have liked the jury on live shows to have four members again, as in the early days of the DSDS. And that wish is now fulfilled by changing guest judges.” However, it is not yet known who will be there other than Anders. (live)
