British mediator Piers Morgan (57) made a coup: he got a big interview with former US President Donald Trump (75). According to Morgan, they are both “friends”. But this could end now. Because Trump walked out of the interview, calling the moderator an “idiot.” the reason? Morgan confronted Trump about his lies about a losing presidential election.
Piers Morgan shares the experience in a comment published by various media outlets. Including the British “the sun” And the American newspaper New York Post. The mediator says: “I told him [Trump]I think he lost the so-called “rigged and stolen” election.
“You idiot”
He also confronts him about being partially responsible for the Capitol Storm on January 6, 2021. Then Trump freaks out. “So you’re an idiot! And you didn’t get it!” the former president told Morgan after saying it was a fair election and Trump lost. The voice gets raspy. Part of what was said can be seen in a video Morgan posted on Twitter. However, the clip was clipped multiple times.
Trump relies on the defense in the video. He says, “I think I am a very honest man, much more honest than you.” Mood rises. “Let’s finish the interview,” Trump says.
“Stop the cameras!”
He gets up and gets out of the picture and says, “Turn off the cameras!” “Very disingenuous,” Trump says as he walks by. In his comment, the mediator wrote that he was later told that Trump called him a “prankster.” Trump reportedly said he wished he had never given the interview.
Morgan interviews Trump on his new show Piers Morgan: Uncensored. The entire interview is scheduled to air on April 25. The former president has not yet commented on the interview. (European Union)
