The Grasshoppers are seven points ahead of their pursuit of Thun with a 3-1 victory in the first match. With five laps left, the residents of Oberland will not be able to make up for the gap. While the record champions can plan to return to the House of Lords after two years, the Thuners now have to defend second place. Because the cash position qualifies for the duel with the ninth of the Premier League. FCT is currently five points ahead of Aarau’s third place.

The Zurich team was the deserved winner of the announced “Junior Final”. Your individual strength made the difference. Especially prominent is the form of Damhasag. GC striker invited the Thuners to dance shortly after the break. But Omar Dzunlagic, Chris Kaplan and Gregory Karlin could not keep up with the GC striker and had to be dodged at baseline. “The people of Thun guess, I was actually walking straight ahead,” said Damhasag. Ermir Lingani used his passes in front of goal to make the score 2-1 for the home side. Dimhasag also launched the counter-attack ten minutes later to clinch the decisive 3: 1 attack, thus clinching Thun’s first defeat after seven matches.
“GC was ahead of us, we couldn’t find any way,” Thun keeper Andreas Herzl admitted. The meeting started with promise for the people of Oberland. GC captain Aleksandr Cvetkovic released Saleh Shehadeh directly, as the ball jumped from his foot into the goal. For Shehadeh, that meant the ninth season. And the striker recalled celebrating a goal Wounded Canaan Vtkitch (Cruciate ligament torn) He presented a shirt number 6. During the week, the people of Thun had already tried to encourage the unfortunate Slovene with acts of solidarity. As on Monday in the 2–1 win against Winterthur, Gregory Carlin worked alongside Fabian Rodlin as collateral against the defense.

Next Friday against Chiasso, coach Carlos Berenger will have to form another double again. Rüdlin was warned yesterday, as was substitute Magnus Breitenmoser, so the midfielders were suspended for the next match.
Despite staff concerns, Thuners will have to act more aggressively against Ticino than GC.
