Quantic Dream also found another hit with its latest title, Detroit: Become Human. The sci-fi epic has now reached another milestone since its release.
Developer Quantic Dream officially confirmed this in a press release today Detroit: Be Human It has now crossed the mark of 2.5 million games sold on PC alone. This, in turn, also provided a milestone in terms of overall sales.
According to the studio, in the meantime, it has managed to sell over 8 million copies across all platforms. The exceptions are express copies obtained via the Subscription Services.
Co-CEO Guillaume de Fondaumiere from the developer was similarly pleased: “2022 has been a great year for Quantic Dream. We have been able to significantly increase the sales figures of the last three PC games compared to 2021, an extraordinary phenomenon that can already be seen in the excellent sales results on Over the past three years, the continued success of Detroit: Become Human, but also of Heavy Rain and Beyond: Two Souls is due to the quality of these titles, their continued appeal to PC gamers, and the conscientious and long-term work of our publishing teams. to a broader, younger audience on every continent.”
Just at the end of last year, the three titles mentioned in the release reached a new record for Wishlist entries, the co-CEO continues. From this it follows that the titles, which have been available for a long time, could also be a hit for the studio in 2023.
Detroit: Become Human will also be available for PC on December 12, 2019.
