D-AIMH Landing: She meets her sisters in Teruel.
It’s an exceptional day. It’s raining in Teruel. The Spanish city located in the province of Aragon is famous for its dry atmosphere. It calculates about 240 sunny days on average annually. This is why their airport is so popular for storing planes there.
Nice weather will return on Wednesday. And then the last Lufthansa Airbus A380 can sunbathe in Spain. German Airlines Tuesday 14 September transferred D-AIMH to Teruel. It took off from Frankfurt at 9:30 AM and landed at 11:30 AM at the Spanish airport. With the machine now 10 years old, the group has now grounded all of its A380s at Teruel.
