The fountain pen brings Charles III. to despair

London/Hillsborough “God, I hate this,” said Britain’s new king, handing a pen to his wife. But when he tried to sign the Hillsborough Castle guest book, something else went wrong.
There is a leaky fountain pen King Charles III Infuriated during visit to Northern Ireland. The monarch was due to sign the guest book at Hillsborough Castle on Wednesday when the pen began to smear. Charles responded with frustration, especially when, to make matters worse, he initially entered the wrong date in the book.

When his wife handed the pen to Camilla, he lost patience: “God, I hate this,” he said, wiping the ink from his hand. Queen Camilla replied, “Oh, it goes everywhere.” As he left, the new ruler muttered, “I can’t stand this nonsense (…) every time.” A video of the scene was widely shared. And commented on the Internet.
