Broiler chickens with “Puro Amor” ranked first in German vinyl charts

Rock band Düsseldorf punk Broilers entered German vinyl charts with their new album “Puro Amor” in April 2021. The five-piece group is pitting against a number of world greats such as Greta Van Fleet, Ariana Grande, Cowen, The He and London Grammar.

With the exception of Queen with her album “Greatest Hits,” the ranking in April 2021 only listed the new entries in the Top 20.

With “Puro Amor” the broilers have now achieved their second success. Since its already seventh LP “(sic!)” In 2017 it landed at number one on the official German vinyl charts, which is determined by GfK Entertainment on behalf of Bundesverband Musikindustrie eV. The basis of the ranking is the monthly sales and usage data from a total of 2,800 merchants.

A third of the top 20 places are occupied by German businesses

Greta Van Fleet came second at the head of the broiler team, with “The Battle At Garden’s Gate” second, while the American metal band “Cannibal Corpse” “Violance Unimagined” was ranked third. The Offspring came fourth with Let The Bad Times Roll, while Motörhead finished fifth with their live album “Louder Than Noise … Live In Berlin.”

A third of the top 20 can be traced back to exclusive German businesses. Including rock music in Hanover, “Rage in the Slaughterhouse”, international music, Dean Lacayne, Madness, Kadavar, and veterans Techno Scooter.
