Due to technical issues, British Airways (BA) has canceled all short flights from London Heathrow Airport until midday on Saturday. Customers are urged to check the status of their flights before traveling to the airport.
It added in a statement that more disturbances were expected during the day. Long-haul flights and all scheduled flights operate to Gatwick and London City, albeit with delays.

It is the second time in ten days that the Bibliotheca Alexandrina has faced great technical difficulties. There has been speculation on social media about a possible Russian cyber attack.
