Brazil reports 13,223 deaths from the corona virus in a week

There were 2,815 deaths and 90,570 new corona virus infections in Brazil on Friday.

Brazil has declared the week with the highest death toll from the corona virus, adding 13,223 deaths in the last seven days, its worst since the first case of Covid-19 was confirmed in March 2020.

According to the National Council of Health Secretaries (GONAS) since last Tuesday, the daily death toll from the South American country Govt-19 has been 2,171, the highest since the outbreak began.

The number of new daily cases continues to be high, which demonstrates a lack of control and indicates the worsening of the crisis and the collapse of the country’s health system due to the corona virus.

Gonas recorded 2,815 deaths and 90,570 new corona virus infections in Brazil on Friday, bringing the death toll to 290,314 and the number of victims to 11,871,390.

Health decline
Health systems are collapsing in every state of the country. The South American company has no ICU beds in at least 26 states.

Even cities with high hospital capacity are in a “catastrophic” situation, as described by the Sao Paulo State Health Secretariat.

As of last Thursday, at least 90 people were waiting for bed, according to data from the Jonah Toria government. This scene repeats itself similarly across the country.

Since March 9, Brazil has been the center of Covit-19 in the world. On that day, the number of daily deaths and new infections was higher than in the United States, however, due to the corona virus continues to top the absolute number.
