The big boxing night is approaching: German Light Heavyweight Champion Dominic Bosel (32/Freiburg) is about to make his US debut!
Sunday morning (DAZN live from 2am) pits Ontario (California) against Mexico superstar Gilberto Ramirez (30).
Bussell: “I’ve always dreamed of it as a young boxer. Now is the time.”
Bösel makes America’s great dream come true!
He says, “I had some offers from the US. But I didn’t want to short myself out. This fight fit. I want to act like it’s not the last fight here.”
No mood to flash in the pan! He knows he’s considered a blatant intruder. Bussell feels his opportunity: “I know the feeling when you underestimate an opponent. Doors open there.”
He had to give up his IBO title for a little while because he didn’t take Robin Krasniqi (30) seriously in the first fight and lost.

Bussell has regained the belt and is now enjoying the challenge in Los Angeles. He’s not afraid of die-hard Hispanic Ramirez fans.
Bussell: “It motivates me even more. And I’m not alone either.” Luisa’s friend and parents traveled across the pond, and some fans are also in the plaza.
Bussell sees himself ready to fight: “I have to frustrate Ramirez. Pressure him. I’m just a way station for him. But let’s wait and see.”
Mandatory challenge for WBA Champion Dmitry Biwol (Russia) awaits the winner and may Bösel USA dream continue with him…
