Bowling: Sarah Kohler ranks seventh in “Deutsche”

Sarah Kohler achieved a good seventh place at the German Bowling Championships in Munich in her first appearance as an under-23 player. After placing first in the district championship and placing third in the district championship, she was selected for the Bavarian championship by the Bavarian state team, of which she has been a member since 2018.

There she played a very good qualifying round with a personal best of 627 wood and narrowly missed out on a podium place in the final by placing fourth. This qualified her to participate in the German Championship on June 8 and 9. There she played a strong 594 pins in the qualifying round and reached the quarterfinals. In an exciting match she won 572 pins and 3:1 points and thus secured participation in the semi-finals. Here she met the eventual runner-up and had to concede defeat by 554 pins. The bottom line is that it reached seventh place, concluding a successful season.

With the first women's team SC Luhe-Wildenau had previously achieved promotion to the State League, where the balls will be rolling again from September.
