BMW finally stopped production of the i3 in July. There will be no successor.
More space and natural look
According to BMW, the behavior of customers in the small and compact car segment has changed, according to the German “Automobilwoche”. Customers wanted more space and a more classic design for electric cars. Thus, the i3 engine was supposed to be a loss-making business for BMW on its own.
