Switzerland is at the forefront of the world rankings
Switzerland ranks fifth in the London Prosperity Index and is also at the forefront when it comes to quality of life. There is room for improvement in the healthcare sector.
Economy, quality of life, security, prosperity: Switzerland does well in the rankings of the Legatum Research Institute in London.

Switzerland remains one of the most prosperous countries in the world. This is evidenced by the arrangement of the Legatum Research Institute in London. Compared to the previous year, Switzerland slipped slightly by two places to fifth place.
Switzerland scores strong in the Economy Quality Index, the Legatum Institute wrote on its website. It ranks first here in the global comparison.
Switzerland ranks second in terms of security and general economic conditions. Quality of life (6), government work (7), nature (7), education (8) and social capital (9th place), Switzerland ranks among the top ten countries.
The Swiss Confederation scored poorer on the investment framework terms, health care, access to markets and infrastructure (13th in each case).
