US President Joe Biden wished his country to overcome political divisions this Christmas.

In his traditional Christmas address on Thursday, he appealed to his countrymen to “remove the poison that has infected our political life and turned one against the other.” Bringing people together is “much stronger than what divides us”.
“I hope we can all take a few moments of quiet reflection and find the rest that is at the heart of Christmas,” Biden said from the festively decorated White House. “We should not think of ourselves as democrats Republic But as Americans, as people who deserve to be treated with respect and dignity.”
