Berchtold and Bhrampuri leave G&G. What’s going on with the SRF offer?

Nicole Berchtold decided in March to say goodbye to SRF Magazine. Now Salar Bahrampuri will also leave. About the reasons for the end.

Notable departures have been the daily ranking at SRF in recent years. But with Nicole Berchtold and Salar Bahrampuri, two of the leading characters on Faces and Stories, this is not a final change for SRF-Aus, but an internal one.

At the end of March it was announced: Nicole Berchtold has given up her place in the G&G office after 15 years. The mother of two will continue to coordinate her own “SRF bi de Lüt” formats such as “Family Matters” and “Country Women’s Kitchen” as well as “Hinter den Hecken”.

Nicole Berchtold wants to complete a master’s degree in psychology in addition to her TV job.

Berchtold’s TV companion Salar Bahrampuri would also like a change of perspective. The Graubünden native has run Faces and Stories since 2015 (formerly known as “Glanz und Gloria”). In the future he will focus on his sobriety “SRF bi de Lüt – Live” and will begin work on a new SRF documentary in late summer.

In 2019, Salar Bahrampuri produced the “DOK” series “Salar’s Journey to his Iranian Roots – God willing” for “SRF DOK” and in 2021 “Reporter” about his fear of heights.
