Pop singer Beatrice Egli claims to have successfully climbed the Matterhorn. “I still can’t believe it! Madness! She wrote on Instagram. Now she wants to eat rosti first.

“There were moments when I wanted to give up, but being in a strong group with the women gives me strength.”
To mark International Women’s Day, Switzerland Tourism has launched a campaign in which women’s rope teams will climb 48 4,000-meter peaks in seven months. According to the organizers, 47 peaks have already been climbed. The Tourist Office in Zermatt congratulated Beatrice Egli Now on Instagram.
The singer will release a new album next week, including a song called “Matterhorn.” She sings it in Swiss German.
She said the song came only after the idea of going up. The Matterhorn with a height of 4,478 meters is known worldwide as a landmark of Switzerland due to its unique shape.
