Jessen (dpa) – The 46 players of Jobsters Jessen scored two important points in the German Basketball League in the struggle for survival.

Hessians EWE Baskets defeated Oldenburg at home 88:75 (34:40) and after their sixth win of the season, moved up Frankfurt to the penultimate position in the table.

After the hosts lost 11 turns in the first half, they acted more focused after the break. With 32:23, Jessen set the third quarter. In the final section, the Hessians quickly expanded their lead to double digits.

Syntainics MBC from Weißenfels had to admit defeat at home to leader Telekom Baskets Bonn with 85:90 (38:66). Starting 16-0 in the last quarter, MBC almost managed to come back after Boone led by as much as 30 points. In the end, the guests took their fifth win in a row.
