On Monday they presented the draft contract, which includes about 25 projects outlined in 12 pages. If the city council votes for it at the end of July, the referendum will be off the table. The agreement also provides for the elimination of 550 parking spaces in the extended inner city area. “We are approaching a city that is worth living in and geared towards the needs of people and cars,” said Almut Schwenke of the German General Cycling Club, which helped launch that desire.
