“Everything is upside down 2“Currently it is running in theaters more successfully than any other film. After the animated adventure pushed sci-fi epic “Doon 2” to the top spot as the world's most successful movie in 2024, the “Inside Out” sequel finally broke the billion-dollar mark.
This certainly makes Pixar one of the most successful animated films. “Inside Out 2” is currently seventh on the list, but could climb even higher in the coming weeks. What is specifically mentioned here is that ““Detestable Me” right. All five films in the Yellow Minions world can be found in the top 50 highest-grossing animated films – and now another one is likely to be added.
Because even the first numbers for “Despicable Me 4” are strong — but how strong? Will it keep up with or surpass “It's All In 2”?
“Despicable Me 4” is out now in the US
In this country we can”Despicable Me 4” can be enjoyed only from July 11, 2024 onwards. However, in the US, the animated film started earlier due to yesterday's national holiday – exceptionally even on Wednesday, July 3, 2024.
Loud Deadline That was It debuted in the U.S. with $27 million, but slightly weaker than expected. “Inside Out 2” grossed $62 million on its opening day, making it the best theatrical release of 2024 so far. Friday started here. Predecessor “Despicable Me 3” took in $29.2 million on its first day — even though it opened on Friday, not Wednesday.
With these numbers, “Despicable Me 4” could easily win the cinema charts on July 3, 2024. Previous box office hit “Inside Out 2” came in close behind with 7.1 million, which is no surprise: The Pixar movie runs June 14 in the US.

According to the predictions of Deadline The fourth installment of the “Despicable Me” series is expected to collect around $120 million in the first five days.. “All In 2” is the undisputed hit of the year. It grossed $154 million in its opening weekend (that too in just three days, opening only on Friday, the usual US opening day) and has shown no signs of weakening since.
“Despicable Me 4” will not come close to the enormous and sensational success of “All In 2” in America – that much is already clear. The effect is still strong. Plus, the Minions' new adventure has yet to launch worldwide. Released in only a few countries so far. In some cases, even the opening numbers of previous franchise installments such as “Minions – In Search of the Mini-Boss”, “Despicable Me 3” and “Despicable Me 2” were surpassed.
