Donald Trump wants to change the US Constitution. He intends to turn the country into a undemocratic one-party state. Republicans give him a helping hand.
Donald Trump is working on his second coup to corrupt the US Constitution and thwart the peaceful transfer of power that is essential to any democracy after the 2024 election. The star of the show shows he stays in power, which many of his critics didn’t believe he was capable of and thus completely underestimated. Trump is currently on a tour of the United States to support those candidates in the November midterm elections who are unconditionally loyal to him.
In the current situation, that unites all those who believe Trump’s lie that he, not Joe Biden, won the presidential election in the fall of 2020. More than 70 percent of Republican supporters believe this groundless claim, which has been dismissed as incorrect by many from the US courts. Instead, by following the Senate hearings, the public was able to get a clear picture of how President Trump attempted to overthrow American democracy by storming the Capitol.
Had it not been for Vice President Mike Pence’s “certification” of the new president, the storming of the Capitol would have been successful. Pence spent hours in the bunker under the Capitol while Trump’s gangs swarmed the blessed halls above. Ten people lost their lives that day. Pence is now considered an outcast in his party because of his loyalty to the Constitution.
This is how Trump wants to secure the 2024 elections
So that nothing like this happens to him again, Trump is making a big run: The candidates he recommends will almost certainly be put to the election. If they also win the election in November, they will not hesitate to endorse Trump as the election winner, and thus the next president after the 2024 presidential election, even if he does not win the election at all.
So America can, read that sentence twice, turn into an autocracy after the next presidential election. Trump has said more than once, to thunderous applause from his fans, that he loves tyrants and wants to exercise their power himself. Republicans have long abandoned all democratic principles and are trying to stay in power through dirty tricks. So they are redesigning constituencies so that minority candidates have no chance, only those white Anglo-Saxon Protestants who are the ideal Republicans. The party and Donald Trump are working hand in hand to turn America into a one-party undemocratic state.
