“We are of course interested in Berlin. We will be there as soon as possible.” This is what Volker Greiner, Head of Northern and Central Europe at Emirates Airlines said. The airline from Dubai would like to fly to BER as its fifth destination in Germany. He also spoke on the aeroTELEGRAPH podcast about the last three A380s that Emirates will receive from Airbus. The airline already has more than 100 copies of the largest passenger aircraft in its fleet. According to Greener, they will be used until the middle of 2030. He believes that his company will remain in good shape even after the crisis.
