Two weeks before the start of the Copa America, the hosts USA suffered a defeat. National coach Greg Berhalter's team lost 1:5 against Colombia. Rafael Borre scored a spectacular goal for the South American team with an overhead kick in the 19th minute.

Colombia's other goals were scored by John Arias (6th), Richard Rios (77th), Jorge Carrascal (85th) and Luis Sinistera (88th). Thanks to Timothy Weah (58th), USA managed to keep the score down. “Of course I'm disappointed,” Berhalter said: “From the 75th minute, in my opinion, our opponent, the game of football and what we do.”

Brazil celebrates thanks to Entrique

17-year-old Endric scored the match-winner in Brazil's 3-2 win over Mexico in Texas. The youngster scored the winner with a header in the 6th minute of added time.

Before Wednesday, June 20, there will be a direct matchup between the USA and Brazil in Orlando. Defending champions Argentina open their extended South American tournament series against Canada.
